CCSAW Student Chapter Seminar: Dr.Lisa Kramer

The CCSAW Student Chapter is happy to have Dr. Lisa Kramer come in and talk about the limitations of animal models in predicting human responses to drugs and diseases. Lisa Kramer is Professor at the University of Toronto and has previously been a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Psychology at Stanford University and at the Rady School of Management at the University of California San Diego. She completed her PhD in financial economics at the University of British Columbia.

Our first department meeting for Animal Biosciences will take place Friday January 25, 2019 at 3:00 PM in ANNU 141. Starting this year we will have a department meeting in one month, followed by a faculty meeting in the next month. Hope to see you all there!

Dr. Marcos Yamaki, a Project Geneticist at Aviagen, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, January 25th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.
